Physical datavisualisation

< Back to portfolio overview

I made a physical datavisualisation about the Spoorzone in Den Bosch.

For this project I went looking for data about the Spoorzone in Den Bosch. As an idea I wanted to create an object where you can see where most photos are taken. Here you can see the most photogenic locations of the Spoorzone.

The pictures are pasted on a wooden board. Below that comes another plate that is attached to it. On this wooden plate is the map of the Paleiskwartier. With rope the photos and the locations on the map are connected. Here you can already see where most of the rope goes and which are the most popular locations. For example, there will be locations from which several beautiful buildings / objects are visible.

In this way, photography lovers will be able to see from which place you can make the most beautiful photos without having to move around.
